These simple two ingredient bagels taste just like fresh bagels from the bakery. The base for this recipe only needs two ingredients, yogurt and self rising flour, thats it. If you want to make them fancy you can add in different things to the dough like blueberries or garlic. Or you can add a topping like everything bagel seasoning. Jump to Recipe- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl add 1 cup plain greek yogurt (or yogurt of choice) and 1 cup self rising flour. Mix together until a shaggy dough is formed.
- Turn dough out onto a floured surface and kneed until smooth dough is formed.

4. Divide dough into four pieces.

5. Roll each piece out into a log about 6 inches long, then connect the ends so it makes a circle.


6. If you would like to add any sort of topping now is the time to do so. Mix together 1 egg and 1 tsp water. Brush bagels with the egg mixture and top with your favorite toppings. (I’m using everything bagel seasoning)

7. Place bagels on your baking sheet and bake for 22 minutes or until tops are golden brown.

8. Serve and enjoy!

Two Ingredient Bagels

1 cup greek yogurt (any flavor)
1 Large egg and 1 tsp water combined, optional
Toppings of choice, optional
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine yogurt and flour in a bowl until mostly combined. It may still look a big shaggy at this point.
- Turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead until dough comes together to make a ball. You may need to add more flour if the dough is too sticky.
- Divide your ball into 4 pieces.
- Take each piece and roll out into a long strip of dough then pinch together the ends.
- Place bagels on the baking sheet and mix together egg and water.
- Brush the egg mixture onto each bagel and top with seasonings. I’m using everything bagel seasoning.
- Bake in the oven for 22 minutes or until bagels are browned and cooked all the way through.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes.
- Cut your bagels in half and toast if desired, top with cream cheese or desired spread.
- Enjoy!
