Jump to Recipe- In a shallow bowl or plate with high sides mix together 4 large eggs, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 2 cups milk or half and half, 2 tsps vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Mix until well combined.
- Heat 1/2 tsp butter in a pan over medium low heat.
- Take 8 slices of sourdough bread, one at a time dip one side of the bread in the egg mixture and let sit for 5-10 seconds. Flip bread and let sit for another 5-10 seconds. Lift bread and let the excess egg mixture drip off.
- Add your slice of bread to the hot pan and let cook for 2 minutes per side.
- Remove from heat and set aside. Repeat with the remaining slices of bread.
- Serve and enjoy!

8 Slices sourdough bread
1 Tbsp butter
4 Large eggs
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 cups milk or half and half

Directions
- In a shallow bowl or plate add eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Mix until everything is well combined.
- Put a large pan over medium low heat and melt some of the butter.
- Take your bread and dip one side into the egg mixture, let sit for 5-10 seconds. Flip bread and let sit for 5-10 more seconds. Lift bread and let excess egg mixture drip off of the bread.
- Add bread to hot pan and let cook on each side for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and repeat with the rest of your bread.
- Serve and enjoy!
